On Saturday, we went to breakfast with Ben and family to Bob Evans, located just off of I-95 in Columbia, MD. As we were waiting for our table, a man walked by that looked familiar to me. I couldn't place where I knew him from, but I thought it must be through college or work. Then, a second, more familiar-looking man walked by who I knew right away was one of the cast members of the show Whose Line Is It Anyway? It turns out the first man was Brad Sherwood, and the second guy was Colin Mochrie.
As they waited for their table while we waited for ours, Colin kept looking over at us from time to time, as we were very obviously staring at Brad and him. It turns out the two comics are touring together and had just finished a show in Bethesda, MD the night before. They were scheduled to perform at the Meyerhoff in Baltimore the next day. We contemplated talking to them but realized that would just be silly. I'm sure our NYC friends see famous people of varying degree rather often, but it was pretty exciting to see a couple of celebrities having brunch at our local Bob Evans, just a few short blocks away from our home.

I so wish that I had gone up to him, acting ashamed, and asked him if he was the guy I was hitting on while drunk the night before. That would have been classic.
